Capturing Flow
Beach and Water Photography Workshop
Duration - Approximately 2.5 hours
Cost: $195 for one person, $295 for 2 people, $350 for 3 people
Maximum participants: 3
We meet at a selected beach or the lake in the Pambula Merimbula vicinity - I will choose the best time and location for the conditions based on weather conditions, the sun's position and tides. We may visit more than one location in which case transport will be provided from the meeting place and back.
It's an early start, we meet around one hour before sunrise to capture blue hour and learn about the various techniques for photographing water.
I share my beach and water photography processes, from selecting a composition to camera settings and post production. We go over particular techniques such long exposure and different ways to capture waves, plus what different camera settings can bring to the table. We'll also address any specific questions or problems you may have.
On completion of our adventure, we'll enjoy hot and cold drinks and a light brunch. We'll also review your images and have a general chat while we relax. You are welcome to contact me post-tour with any further questions after you have downloaded your images.
You will need a tripod for this session and have a basic understanding of manual camera settings (how to change to manual).
For lenses I use a 12-100mm, f/4.0 and a wide angle 7-14mm f/2.8 for landscapes but we can work with what you have! Not sure? Shoot me a email or message me on social media (links at footer of page).
Coaching sessions are weather permitting. If I cancel due to bad weather, I will attempt to reschedule to a mutually agreeable time, otherwise a full refund will be given.
