​These Terms and Conditions apply to all services, events, workshops, and products offered by Flying Parrot Photography. By booking or purchasing any service, you acknowledge and agree to abide by these terms. If you require clarification on any item, please contact us directly.

1. Booking and Payment

Workshop places are secured upon full payment or upon receipt of a deposit if available.

The remaining balance for any deposit-held booking is due no later than 30 days before the workshop start date. Failure to pay the full balance on time will result in the cancellation of your booking and forfeiture of your deposit.

All prices are in AUD unless stated otherwise.

2. Deposits

Deposits are subject to the cancellation policy outlined below.

If you cannot attend a workshop or if it is cancelled, your deposit may be transferred to another workshop, provided it is used within 12 months of the original workshop date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Minimum Numbers

A minimum of 2 participants is required for the workshop to proceed. If the minimum is not met, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the workshop. In such cases, a full refund or credit towards a future workshop will be offered.

4. Cancellation Policy

Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

All cancellations must be submitted in writing.

If you cancel within 30 days of the workshop and your place cannot be filled, no refund will be given. In exceptional circumstances, refunds may be granted at the organiser's discretion.

In the event of cancellation due to situations beyond our control (e.g., civil unrest, pandemics, natural disasters), we will assess each situation individually. Where possible, a refund or credit will be issued. However, some situations may result in total loss of funds, in which case we can provide documentation to support travel insurance claims.

If a refund is approved, a $30 AUD administration fee will be deducted.

5. Weather Policy

Workshops may be postponed due to unsafe or poor weather conditions. Participants will be given the option to:

Transfer to another available date, or

Receive a full refund.

6. Health & Fitness Requirements

Workshops may include moderate activity such as walking up to 5km over uneven terrain.

Participants must be able to carry their own camera gear and water.

Please disclose any relevant health conditions before booking. We reserve the right to restrict participation if a condition may present a safety concern.

We assume no responsibility for your medical care before, during, or after the workshop.

7. Participant Conduct & Indemnity

By participating in a workshop, you agree to act responsibly and respectfully.

We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate. No refund or compensation will be provided in such cases.

You are responsible for any damage caused by your actions and agree to indemnify Flying Parrot Photography against all related claims or legal costs.

8. Liability Waiver

You participate in the workshop at your own risk.

Flying Parrot Photography accepts no liability for injury, property damage, financial loss, or other claims during or in connection with the workshop, including travel to or from the location.

9. Insurance

We strongly recommend the following:

Travel insurance (including trip cancellation and delay)

Medical insurance

Equipment insurance

It is your responsibility to ensure you have appropriate coverage for any emergencies, cancellations, or losses.

10. Image Use & Privacy

We may take photos of participants during workshops for marketing purposes (e.g., social media, website, brochures).

If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify us in writing before the workshop.

Personal data will only be used for organisational purposes and will not be shared with third parties unless necessary (e.g., hotels or tour operators).

We may use your contact details to inform you of future events. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails.
